Autism: Parents Weren't Lying Like We Thought They Were

For years, parents have said that children have regressed after gaining skills then losing them around their 2nd birthday. DOCTORS now pronounce this may be, in fact, (hush around the room) true! Why parents didn't make this up in some elaborate scheme to......why, I don't know why they'd have a scheme. What would be their motive for telling the doctor bogus stuff.

Anyway, watching videos proves it. Some kids go backwards. My son gained certain skills then lost them around 18 months. He would recognize people in pictures (laugh and point) and then, he just stopped. It was very upsetting. Other autistic traits he seemed to always have (sensitivity to noise, for example).
