.XXX

Pornography, a by-product of the second oldest profession, needs to be eliminated. It exploits the young, naive and hopeless. With the Internet, people formerly shamed away from the nasty product now have access to the mind-numbing, objectifying and ultimately depressing "entertainment."

President Bush rejects the idea of an .XXX spot on the web for porn, reports Drudge. While I dislike the idea of any porn, I think that putting it in one black corner of the web is a good solution. Then, prosecute anyone who "deceives" people by placing it in innocent places.

I mistakenly bumped into a porn site when looking up Scottish plaid. A girl named McIntosh was dressed in a tartan skirt, her knee socks and little else. What irritated me was that this legitimate search could have been done by my kids and hello!

An .XXX domain doesn't solve everything, but it could help.
